With schools making it so easy to get suspended these days, how many young people who hate school get suspended on purpose? With mandatory attendance in most states, do you not think the easiest way for someone not to go is get kicked out? Also do you think forcing people who do not want to be at school is a factor in the increasing violence and problems in schools?

Okay okay, one question at a time hehe.
1. Yes. A lot of kids who dislike school either don't go or work on getting suspended. Me? I didn't like school that much, but when I was a senior my goal was to get suspended at least once because I'd never done it before. No luck, thats what happens when your dad is a firemen and knows everyone.
2. Increased violence in schools come from other kids who bully others. If you aren't in the 'in' crowd then you're not popular and nobody likes you. People get hurt, people get disgusted, and the disgusted like to bite back after too much has happened.

I hated school when I was a teenager, but even then I thought out of school suspension was the dumbest thing.
Why reward a kid with a "mini-vacation" for being bad?
I also do not feel forcing a kid to go to school is what is increasing the violence and problems, parents that do not monitor their kids activities and know what they do at school, and haven't taught their kids how to respect themselves and others are the biggest problem.

At my school you can scream and run around the class and get suspended 2 days. Everyone trys to get suspended or something called ISS. That is In School Suspension. That is REALLY fun! Your friends can be in it with you, you sit there and talk then you get lunch early too. Then you get to go around the WHOLE school picking up trash! <---That really is fun though. Seriously. You get to walk around the whole school seeing everyone!

i fought this kid on purpose last year and i got ISS
ISS is so much fun
