I have a game today, and before I was doing pretty good. It's my first year playing, and recently I havn't been dribbling and kicking as good as I use to. I don't know what happened. What can I do to improve my skills?

Passing and shooting is always a good thing for a midfielder to practice. Controlling the ball when you receive it is of prime importance. Juggling is an excellent way to improve your ball control.

Practice, practice, practice . . . the more the better.

Two days before a game, you should really load up on carbs that will keep you with enough energy for the next game. Drink lots of liquid and make sure that you have a lot of energizing, healthy foods. Also, at the game, have both water and a sports drink. The sports drink is for after the game, to regain the sugars that you had lost in the duration of the workout.

I play that same position and what I work the most at is tackling and endurance, bucause since your a midfielder you are expected to run alot. Some other things that i work on is passing the ball accurate and how to control the ball

You can try to dribble the ball back and forth across the field. For shooting, you can have a friend be the goaly and take shots. that's my advice to you.

It also wouldn't hurt to talk to your coach a little about it, as I'm sure they could give you some advice on drills to improve
