People talk about Christianity as a loving religion, but with very few exceptions, everyone on earth has people they love and who love them.

However, Christian teaching indicates that only certain people with a specific faith system are accepted into heaven and everyone else gets eternal torment.

So, when you become a Christian, do you accept that people you love will suffer for all eternity?

If you shoot a firework into the air and it hits it's maximum height in 7 seconds and explodes sending fragments scattering in horizontal directions all around at a speed of 20 meters per second then (assume that air drag is negligible):

It would only take the fragments 7 seconds to fall right?
A)What will be the acceleration of the fragments as they fall vertically?

B)What is the path of the fragments as they fall to the ground?

C)Why do the fragments follow this path?

Please explain how you figured these out.I'm trying to learn but it's so confusing.

My 17 year old sister has been with her boyfriend for 2 years now. Their relationship started our innocent but has turned very violent over the past year. He has punched her, kicked her dislocated her jaw and even tied her up and beat her with his own personal collection of whips and chains.
I have tried telling her to leave him before she gets killed but she will not listen. My mother has warned her about the dangers of staying in this relationship but she won't listen to her either and now my mother wont have anything else to do with this. Should I continue to try to reason with her or should I just step back and mind my own business?? Help please

I am curious to know if anyone can tell me how a burned out light bulb begins to work again after weeks.
I have 3 can lights on a track, all powered by one switch. A couple of weeks ago, one of the bulbs stopped working and I put off replacing it since two of them worked fine. So today all three lights are working, how does this happen?

I was told that if I cut out dairy produts that my depression may improve and that my psoriasis would start to clear up, I have taken anti-depressants in the past and my depression lifted slightly but they didnt make any differece to my psoriasis, I am desparate to find something that will help both problems!!!
