I'm a 40 something!

I remember the phrase "Sky Blue Pink" but never heard it with a "Finny-addy-border" but it sounds quite quaint!!

My mom use to call "sky-blue-pink" the color of the sky as the sun set with a few clouds on the horizon...
I never heard of the phrase "finny-addy-border" though.

I'm over 40 and I've never heard of that.
Sounds like some one at one point or another was suggesting a silly color and that' just the way it came out.
