I sit at the lunch tables with the kids in black and Hot Topic clothing. They call themselves gothic. I like it, simply because I can sit there with a blank stare on my face, and people will just think I'm just depressed and ignore me.
If I'm describing some one, I describe their personality, and clothing style. But I don't usually label someone unless they label themselves first.
Stereotypes are just a way for society to group things. I suppose it's easier for some to just look at a group as a whole than at an individual.
