Let me just give a brief background on Christianity. Christianity is a religion where in the believers worship only God. We believe that He created everything and I mean everything. Since the fall of man, the fellowship of God, and man was temporarily "out of reach". Because of the serpent who is far more crafty than any other animal, we fell into temptation causing the birth of sin onto the world. Now, since God loved us more than anything, He sent His Son to suffer the consequences to save us from second death, and that is hell- a place of sheer torture. You see God loves us so much that even the worst of sinners can not withstand His love. And yes, Christians do live to love and serve- not to be served.
Well, sadly, not all receive the gift of God which is salvation, so it is indeed true that people who do not receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior will go to hell and spend forever there. I know it is sad to think about it, especially if someone who you hold near and dear will go to hell, so share the gospel to them. Share the Good News that Jesus has paid the penalty for sin, and that we have the opportunity to spend forever in His loving presence if we accept His gift. Did I answer your question? Thanks anyway for letting me share my thoughts..â¥Ã¼â¥

No, I don't accept that all will suffer. I believe. I believe a certain way because of the information I have found, and been surrounded by. But come judgment day, God looks at the heart. God knows our life circumstances. What if you never had the chance to know? The one common "hellish" denominator I think may exsist is the REJECTION of God. And, most of all, I have to remember it's not my place to Judge in the end. It's his.

If you are truly a Christian (and not just a churchgoer), then you will agree that our God is an absolutely holy and perfect God. There is no sin in Him. And a holy God cannot commune or dwell with unholiness. The only way that we as unholy sinners are given an open passage to Father God is through the righteonsness of Christ. The wages of sin is death...Christ died so that we don't have to die, and so that we as unholy men can live in fellowship with a holy God. When people reject the offer of salvation, then they will reap the wages of sin...ie. death and eternal seperation from all that is holy, for God can not dwell with that which is unholy. It is not enough to be a good person, all our good works are as filthy rags. We MUST be seen by God clothed in the righteousness of Christ, and that comes only through salvation.

No, it is not about acceptance; it is about free will and a choice. We each have a choice to make - members of our families and people we love included. Everyone will hear the life changing not all will embrace it. God does not want even one to perish, but all to have everlasting life. Instead of accepting - pray for those you love to accept the gift of salvation.

When you become a Christian you pray for your loved ones to come to know Jesus as well.
EDIT:
It doesn't change facts whether or not people ACCEPT or REJECT hell...it remains a fact irregardless....because this is not "People's Choice"....so if we all put our little heads together and decide that hell no longer exists...let's see how about trying that logic with the USA.....does THAT STILL EXIST?

The Bible does say that all who do not accept Jesus Christ as lord and savior have not opened the door to Heaven. But it also says that ask and receive. Pray always and believe that God is Love and all things are possible! Believe do not stop.

After you become a Christian, you and other believers can pray for your loved ones so they too will be saved and avoid going to hell.
Prayer works.

You can show them the path to salvation, but you have to accept that not all will accept Christ's gift of eternal life. Some will choose an eternity of damnation. It's just a reality.

Yes, that's one of the many harmful effects of Christianity. My parents, I'm sure, worry about this, and I wish I could convince them that Hell doesn't really exist. It's sad that people go through such worry for no reason. Life is hard enough without such nonsense.
