My 17 year old sister has been with her boyfriend for 2 years now. Their relationship started our innocent but has turned very violent over the past year. He has punched her, kicked her dislocated her jaw and even tied her up and beat her with his own personal collection of whips and chains.
I have tried telling her to leave him before she gets killed but she will not listen. My mother has warned her about the dangers of staying in this relationship but she won't listen to her either and now my mother wont have anything else to do with this. Should I continue to try to reason with her or should I just step back and mind my own business?? Help please

I think you need to take your hubby, your cat and dog and your son over there with your own personal collection of whips and chains and beat the crap out of him and find out what happened to your sisters personal collection of whips and chains!
Write that book!

It is obvous that you are acting on behalf of your sister, and for some reason, she has choosen to stay with this abusive jerk. Since you have already approached her, and have also sought assistance from your mother, it seems the next step may be to involve an outside party.
This may go as far as to notifying the authorities and getting this guy for assault. Your sister is still a minor at 17 years of age..so acting on he behalf is still somewhat easy. Yet once she becomes an adult, this will be come difficult if not impossible. You and your mom, well, especially your mom, need to take action now.

good luck:)

confident, of direction it relatively is an abusive relationship! you're somebody, your individual individual, he has no suitable to permit you comprehend who you may/cant communicate with or the place you may pass. heavily, if I have been you, i'd destroy up with him. at cutting-edge away. He does not very own you, and dont you dare experience accountable. You havent executed something incorrect. A boyfriend is somebody who cares for you and looks when you, gazes into your eyes and in effortless terms has intercourse with you while you're a hundred% specific you prefer to. he's terrible, destroy up with him. Now. And pass and finally end up the suited boy you deserve.

Why does she stay, does she like it? How old is he? He sounds older than her, much older... What you can do is to phone the police next time... That’s something that you can do before he kills her. If she dies your gonna regret that you haven’t done more. So take the big step and help your baby sister before it’s too late. Don’t tell her your going to phone the police, then she won’t tell you if he abused her again. Good luck...

You need to step in. It differs from each state but some states all the police need is to see marks on the body and that is enough to arrest him. You need to call you local police dept and get this taken care of even if she does get mad. Better for her to be mad for a while then to be dead.

you should never turn your back!!!!every time you know that he hits her write it down keep track of all the times you can think of .let her see the paper for her self this helped me out.call a crisis line and talk to the cops so they have it on record they wont do any thing unless she presses charges but at least they have it on record so when she finally gets tired of it then this will help.talk to a crisis line and tell them that way its on record too.all this helps later in court.
pray pray and pray you guys are in my prayers!
best of luck

unfortunatly many people stay in abusive relationships because they love the person hurting them snd are afraid of being alone, tbh your sister will have to take her own time to realise that he is no good, be there for her when she needs you. good luck

NO.....
But OK for you and me to say that. the reality is her, seeing it. prove it to her but don't provoke her to lose you. she needs you right now. going on at her will only create a drift between you. stay supportive and gradually show her the bad points of her man. she will realize that ther are better people out there for her....
