I want to make fudge for the holidays and use it as gifts. I would like to start as soon as possible, but at the same time I'm not sure how soon I can start while maintaining the fudge's freshness. I don't want to put in all this effort and compromise the quality.

A genuine question for Muslims, will you please clarify this?

Holy Koran, Sura 4 :- Women (Al-Nisa')

Very briefly and not wishing to mis translate there is a section that says (in effect):-
'Men have authority over Women because Allah has made the one superior to the others, and because they spend their wealth to maintain them. Good Women are obedient, they guard their unseen parts because Allah has guarded them.
As for those from whom you fear disobedience admonish them and send them to beds apart and beat them.
Then if they obey you , take no futher action against them. Allah is high, supreme.

This Sura also gives good advise on mending broken marriage relationships etc.
Now my question is does all this still apply, or has the English translator 'lost' something in translation?
Whenever I have asked Muslim friends this type of question they have nearly always said that if the Holy Koran is not read and undersood in Arabic then the whole message is missed.
Is this correct??

Were you upset when people bought you things that were not on your registry?

I'm going to a baby shower on Friday. My husband’s brother’s girlfriend. Anyway, we are pretty tight on money since we just got married and bought a house. We wanted to get her something off her registry that was in the $20-30 range. All they registered for was really expensive things! Like car seats and strollers?! What happened to bibs and onesis? Were you upset when receiving things not on your registry? Because I'm thinking of getting her a cute outfit. I'm sorry, but I'm not buying her a 99-dollar baby monitor!

Why do men feel the need to flaunt their assets?

No matter how good looking a guy is, if he starts telling me about how big his boat is, how many suits he has, how much money he makes....etc....IT IS A MAJOR TURN OFF! To me it says "hi, i have no intellectual skills, no personal skills, i just want to get laid".

Do the democrats know who really runs the country?

It's the wealthy Republican Jews, no matter who is in office money talks and BS walks.

I think Clinton figured this out his self at some point because the only country I believe he ever visited was Israel.

He was kissing Ariel Sharon's butt like no other butt has ever been kissed before, and they still did nothing for him.

What would be a good way for the democrats to get along with the wealthy republican jews that run the country? Do they have a plan for this also?

Well what will happen if I take my boyfriends virginity away?

Well just the other night my boyfriend ask me if we were ever going to do it!! I was like why? and he replied that he wanted me to be he's first girl to have sexual entercourse with, and he said that he wanted just me as the only person, who could break his virginity and No one else just because he is seriously in love with me, and wouldn't want to do it with the wrong person, so I was like let me think about this because I am certainly not a virgin and I will feel alittle bad if I did something. I would regret in my life, taking this away from him, but he seems so eager and every time we are close making out he trys, but I end up pulling away just because I have feeling of not taking that from him, so I trying to found out what I should do? any suggestion would help me cause I can't hold him off for long.. But the truth is I really love him, but i just don't want to rush in and take that away from him and I found some ways to have him look at me from another point of view beside sex.

What is the legal ramnification of a car hitting a bicyclist while running a light? Is it a criminal offense?

Actual instance - a guy riding a bike is nailed by a car that runs a light, hits him at 40 MPH. Driver was unlicensed and uninsured, but was only issued a citation, while the bicyclist was hospitalized and nearly died. This is in AZ, wondering if the guy is up for criminal charges.
