Right now, all I can think of is, "The girl next door is not the girl next door." Written by Drake Bell, I think.

The reason that one came to mind is he sings that same line three times in a row. Almost as repetitive as " I've got my mind set on you" four times by George Harrison.

You're right, that's a terrible line, and yes, it's by Drake Bell.
I hate that one Macy Gray song, where she says "Here is my confession, I am your possession." What kind of message is she trying to give? She might as well say "I am your slave" though people might get a bit argh at that.
Also, you know what makes me mad? That one song from Nickelback. I love Nickelback, I do, they rock, but that one song... Believe It or Not. The lyrics are okay, I guess... But honestly, the grammatical errors all throughout the song just get so very very annoying. They insult my ears! The proper verb to put after "Everyone" is not in the plural sense. Every... ONE... That's a singular thing. Everyone HAS. HAS. Sorry, it just irks me.
What were we talking about?

'Hold a chicken in the air, stick a deck-chair up your nose
Buy a Jumbo-Jet, and then bury all your clothes
Paint your left knee green, then extract your wisdom teeth
Form a string quartet, and pretend your name is Keith'.

The chorus from the terrible 'Chicken Song'. Every line in the whole song is stupid

Would be a tie for a song that from the 70s that grunted and moaned to the music and Melanie's "I've got a brand new pair of rollerskate; you have got a brand new key". WTF? Was a #1 song in the 70'. Were all of the adults on drugs then?

this from life by desree;

I'm afraid of the dark
Especially when I'm in the park
When there's no one else around
Oh I get the shivers
I don't wanna see a ghost
It's the sight that I fear most
I'd rather have a piece of toast
Watch the evening news

never could figure out if it was genius or absolute crap...

That is just weird and my kids crack up everytime they hear me playing it!

thats not stupid what he means, is that the literal girl next door is not the typical girl next door, but if he said it like that it would sound lame, this line is from red hot chilli peppers, its kinda dumb but i still like them alot "i got a sister making babies with a black and decker blow torch"
