20 years from now,the mess will be seen as archaic,as the baby boomers retire off.

This is good stuff. I am a Republican but I don't like President Bush and I think the Republicans in office aren't real Republicans. They are not standing for the principles most Republicans stand for which is why, in my humble opinion, they lost the election and popular support. If they would move back to the core beleifs of most Republicans, the Democrats would have lost again except in New England where most people's brains have frozen (I am guessing).

Yes it is sad that hate is the popular thing in this election! Maybe good ( Republicans ) will win next time.

Where do you get your facts? Only 40.4% of the voters voted and nearly half of them were Republicans. The demo's didn't win, the Republicans lost. The people didn't vote for the Demo's they punished the Republicans so that that will be able to regroup and take back their posts in upcomming elections. Why do you think there isn't a lot of whining o n this side of the party, we're jst waiting it out!

When I opened and read Jon's answer the following poem came to mind: (although I have not heard it is probably four decades):
"I'm rubber and you're glue
What you say bounces off me and sticks on you".

Sour grapes is what I would call his response.

OK, this syntax doesn't make enough sense to be able to correct. I've always been less popular, generally, so that doesn't bother me and I'm beginning to think that gay marriage is not the big deal that it has been made out to be. (Shocking, I know.)

Unlike the liberal party, republicans don't think politics is a popularity contest. thank god, cause if it was we would lose. this is why is takes more guts, balls, and nerve to be republican. i always fingure people become libs, not by thinking, but because someone came over to them and said "c'mon become a liberal. all the cool kids are doing it!" Libs just give in to pressure. Republicans stand up for what's right.

The person above me must be talking about Democrats, at least most of the things listed fit the democratic party.

CUNNINGHAMMERS
DUBAI PORTSIES
OPECKERS
SWEATSHOPPERS
WAGE SLAVERS
NAZI-CONS
TALK-SHOW NANNIES
DRUG ADDICTS
PHONE-SEX PERVERTS ("What say you?")
CLOSET QUEENS
PEDOFOLEYS
UNCLE TOMS
INBRED HILLBILLIES
JE$U$ SALESMEN
BORATS
