Because God said let there be water and it was so. Look at the Creation story in the Bible, it pretty much explains it and it can't be disproved through physics, theory's or anything else, it is supported by science, w/o water, there could be no life. As far as I know, ours is the only one currently with H20. Our planet and us humans,our whole galactic existence is a miracle.
A great book for you to read is
"Fearfully and Wonderfully Made."
It will awe you, no matter who or what you believe in.
