With all the money and attention they get from us, what do we get from them? We love them but do they even care? We buy products they endorse, we buy tickets to their matches, movies and shows, directly or indirectly we make them rich but do they even bother to donate when country faces catastrophies or when poor people starve to death?

But as I grew up I was so afraid of becoming like them, that I became someone completely different. I’m too nice and caring. I notice how uncaring my parents are. Even though they are so hateful to me, I try to me nice to them all the time and I don’t want anything in return (I don’t think I understand people caring about me because of my upbringing. I just care for others.). I try to, in a sense, be the caring parent for my younger siblings… because my parents are so uncaring. But I don’t see my family as my family, but as someone I’m forced to live with…

My question is how did I turn out so different? I mean people say you become like your parents but I’m NOT anything like them. I try to be the person they never were.

I don't fit in with them. When I leave home, I never want to come back. They are so heartless and uncaring.

one of by guy friends is my age 16 nearly 17 and he's being going out with my 14 year old sister (she was 13 last month) since the end of Summer. I wasn't overly happy about the relationship but neither are ones to do as their told so i just kept out of it. Yesterday at school I heard him talking with his mates and talking about how good my sister is in bed. I was horrified and confronted him immediatly hoping that he'd tell me it was all for show for his mates but he admitted that they had first slept together on her birthday. I've spoken to my sister and she's admitted it but begged me not to tell our parents. I'm really worried about this as I know what my friend is like, he's been with a lot of girls and usually dumps them after he's had enough. Also theres so much trouble she can get into. What should I do?

Sheffield was very upset about playing first base with the Yankees; he will not be playing that position.

What will the addition of the future hall of famer, Sheffield do to the Tiger’s lineup? Monroe, Granderson, and Ordonez are all good players. The only weakness is Grandersons’ batting, but he has needed speed. The tigers need a good fielding and hitting first basemen. I like Sheffield, but I don’t see the need for him in the Tigers outfield.

My mother just bought a new Mac, and it has an airport for a modem. She wants to connect to the internet, and I know she needs some extra equipment, but I know nothing about macs, so I don't know what she actually needs. When I bought him last night, I had NO idea how agressive they were or how big they got. He's only about two and a half inches right now, but he kept snapping at my other fish, so I filled a freezer bag with a good bit of the tank water and put him in it temporarily to seperate him from the others. I read that you can feed them basically anything, but I'm not quite sure that's true...(I'd really rather not feed him feeders) I was going today to buy another fish tank, BUT.... should I buy a smaller one to put my mollies and guppies in (I have a ten gallon now) or should I buy a bigger one? if so what size?

PS. Nothing to do with the first question, but a month ago I had one big snail, now I have him PLUS about 10 other little ones... is there any humane way to get rid of them... perhaps oscar food? lol

I have a son who's two and a half, is completely enamored with Elmo (as most kids have become), and loves to watch Sesame Street. As an active parent I get involved with what he watches. So here's my question: What happened to Sesame Street? When did it become so fomulaic? It follows a set patteren every episode.
Part 1
A) Some set-up story invovling a few Old-timey SS favorite
Maybe they were wished into kids, maybe Elmo needs some singing partners, maybe Rosita's homesick
B) A resolution to this story within 5 minutes
Part 2
A) Cookie Monster gives the Letter of the Day and eats it
A small video clip with the letter
B) Count Von Count gives the Number of the Day
A small video clip with the number
C) Grover's Travel Stories
A small video clip about some far-off country
Part 3
A) Elmo's World
Which is overly-structured as well
B) Closing with Oscar reading Slimey Trash Grodon
(recaps the Letter & Number of the Day)
There's hardly any muppet songs or abstract skits.

I have been jogging 2.4km daily at midnight, however after jogging i felt quite hungry and eat before i sleep. Will i gain weight easier in this way? My main purpose is to cut down my weight :(
