do a obituary search on line at the local papers. You can go to the hall of records at the city they lived and find out the information for free by asking to get a copy of the death certificate , than ask to see it first to verify it is the right one , than say nevermaind and leave. they just charge for copies of them.

Google the persons name, if there was an orbituary in a paper it'll show up. Also you can search the local newspapers online, almost all of them have an archive section you can search for free.

You could try your local reference library and check the register for deaths. They dont charge for this. Just ask when you go in and they will assist you if you need it. I did this to trace my family tree. Hope you find your answer x

do not completly understand your question , but if you want too find out if someone died you know , then check the obituaries in your local paper , or on the web , hope this helps ,

Go to www.rootsweb.com then use their social security death index SSDI search. The drawback is that recent records take awhile to be uploaded to the database.
