Will she be able to take her PSATS, SATS, and ACTS, in her junior/senior year? She will be 16 at that time. Since her sophmore year will be judged for getting into college what is the best way to get almost perfect grades besides listening and homework? Do colleges look at extra activites/volunteer work?

I was going for a misty, smudgy, soft look but it ended up with lines that are too crisp. Is there some kind of glaze or something I can put over the whole thing that will make it look smudgy and softer?

I have been married for 4 months. My husband and I NEVER fought (I mean arguing...not physically fighting) while we were dating. Now we seem to fight almost every day. It is usually something stupid. I try to be positive, and make up right away, but he says I act like nothing happened, and that I expect things to go on like normal. He doesn't understand. I don't understand why he needs to stay mad for a while. I just want our marriage to work, and I feel like he gives up too easily. He has gotten to the point that he seems to be down and negative most of the time. When we argue, and I apologize for the part that I played in the argument, and say that I wish I could rewind and undo everything, he says I always say that. I just want things back to the way they were, but I think it might be too late. Please, if you have any good advice, lay it on me!! I love my husband, I believe he loves me too, and I don't want to split up for ANYTHING. Thank you!

I have a pretty large vocal range. HOWEVER, I think a duet with a boy would be quite fun to do, especially because I really enjoy singing love songs or preparing something like this with another person. I COULD do something with another girl, but when it comes to singing, boys are the ones I feel more comfortable with (plus, not many girls want to do duets for choir this year). And if I do it with a boy, it might be hard to find one, because I think they're already paring up. Also, I'm not so good at talking to the cuter, more talented boys that would easily get me in (although one of them said "I can't audition w/ you, I already promised my other friend. But if I could, I would easily get in with your good voice singing along (no, he doesn't like me. he already has a gf)!" I really don't know what to do for this audition: I have plenty of time to prepare, but I don't want to leave this as something that, at the very last minute, is something I finally pay attention to. Please help!

I have a bunch of old lotions/body wash/shampoos/conditioners cluttering up my bathroom cabinets. I want to recycle the bottles, but what do I do with the contents?
Is there one way that's less harmful to the environment than any other? I don't like to be wasteful, but the products are past their point of use.
Thanks for any answers! Have a great night!

Although I haven't seen the movie, I think it sounds like a horrible movie. I would never, ever see it. I was going to a birthday party to see it with my friends at the party until I realized how horrible the movie sounds! I am Jewish and I looked up this movie online, and it is SO ANTI-SEMETIC, and I find that discusting!! And people call this the COMEDY OF THE YEAR?! Why would anyone want to see this? I know that everyone is going to be talking about this movie in school, and everyone will say it's the funniest movie of the year, but I refuse to see Borat. I think it is a horrible movie. What do you think about it?

Her emotionally and verbally abusive husband of 22 years has siphoned off all the equity from the house, found a girlfriend and wants to dump my friend with half the marital debt (from loans he has taken out lately). After being a stay-at-home housewife for all those years, she went back to PT work and earns $150 a week from which she pays for her own food and expenses. He even demands rent, etc. Now that he has a girlfriend, he wants her gone. She is so incapable of doing anything for herself except for showing up for a simple grocery store job and is nearing breakdown. He says he will not pay alimony or give her half the pension (which he can't do by law, I know) and he wants to go through mediation to have her agree. She is so fearful she will do it. She mentioned thoughts of suicide.

How can I help prevent her from being thrown on the streets with nothing? How can I help her?

By the way, we have documentation of his anger problems (he broke a co-worker's jaw, his meds, etc.)

If you watch 5 questions he is always making little comments that are a little insulting & he seems to be defending his sexuality lately he is always making comments about women or (tag teams) if you understand what he is taking about. (This has nothing to do with wrestling tag teams.) I don't know he has changed quite a bit lately like he is irritated or something?

Goin on a cruise in a couple of months, and wouldn't mind meeting some ladies (i'm 16). Just wondering what the right approach is to meet girls on a cruise. I've been told confident, on the verge of cocky is the way to go. For example, would a girl think I was weird http://myspace-389.vo.llnwd.net/01007/98/33/1007553389_l.jpg http://myspace-646.vo.llnwd.net/01006/64/60/1006220646_l.jpg if I just sat down next to her while she was sunbathing/reading and started a conversation up? Basically how to meet some girls, and get the ball rolling with them without coming across as a shallow asshole all about gettin them in the room later on (I just want to meet some girls, possibly have a few long chats up on deck at night in the nice breeze, looking out over the ocean, etc)
