Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson went on a campingtrip. After a good meal and a bottle of wine they lay down in their tent for the night, and went to sleep.

Some hours later, Holmes awoke and nudged his faithful friend awake. "Watson, look up at the sky and tell me what you see." Watson replied, "I see millions and millions of stars."

"What does that tell you?" Holmes questioned.

Watson pondered for a minute. "Astronomically, it tells me that there are millions of galaxies and potentially billions of planets. Astrologically, I observe that Saturn is in Leo. Horologically, I
deduce that the time is approximately a quarter past three. Theologically, I can see that God is all powerful and that we are small and insignificant. Meteorologically, I suspect that we will have a beautiful day tomorrow. What does it tell you?"

Holmes was silent for a minute, then spoke. "Watson, you #!&@#. Someone has stolen our tent."

i was at a works 'do' last week and nearly all of us were single...only 2 were attatched,only one of those 2 were married...we were all talking about meeting people etc and everyone there except me and one other girl had joined a dating agency or chat sites etc...one woman had met a guy online and is going out to dinner with him next week! We were all saying that the stigma has gone from meeting people online and that in essence it is as safe as meeting someone in a pub or out...until you get to know someone you dont really know them...and online i suppose people can spend a long time chatting before they meet...the woman i mentioned had been speaking to this guy for 7 months...you only ever hear the bad news...never the success stories so im just interested in would you...have you and if not why not? Not personal to me just interested in the general concensus of opinion,lol...;0)

I met this girl when I was 20, we broke up because I was going away for school, eventually dropped out and came back home.The past 6 years we've been going out on dates every once and awhile but seeing other people still.She has had many boyfriends and I've had a few girlfriends, which I've never really ever connected with on an emotional level.She has had her heart broken by every boy shes ever gone out with and always tells me that the times when she with me are the only times she is ever really happy.When we met I was an unemployed dope smoking bum who lived in his parents basement who always put his friends first.Now I live on my own, don't smoke dope, making good money and have a bran new car.I've done alot of growing up in the passed 6 years.I've asked her to get back together 2 times in he past 2 years but keep getting turned down.People have asked me if they could setup me up with other girls but I say no because I'm waiting on her. Should I follow my heart or just move on.

I met this great guy a few weeks ago, we been going out on dates 2/3 times a week, having a great time, at first he was texting me all the time etc but now all of a sudden he has cooled right off. Nothing happened that would make me understand why he's suddenly gone cold, last time I saw him was Sat night and we had a great time, he has been in touch this week but not very often and not as warmly as he was before. Has he just decided he doesnt like me or something? Or is it just the honey moon period has worn off extremely fast? I really like him and want to get to know him better before deciding whether this could be a long term thing. Should I talk to him about it or leave it and see how it pans out?
