I was a very hairy 13 yr. old..Like I had more hair on my arms, legs, etc, etc than anyone I went to school with..some girls thought it cute orthers not so cute...However don't worry..you may or may not grow any more hair! then as you get older you will get some and it will get darker making it look like there is alot more but it really isn't..remember I said you will grow some but chances are not alot..don't worry about it..that's natures protection..As you get alot older the hair will start to fall out, disappear, become softer...You'll be fine..Just worry about your education, your fine character and integrity..eat right, exercise right and you will be a super star..and don't forget to treat people as you want to be treated..Good Luck Be Cool

When I was 13 I noticed 'millions' of black dots developing all over my body, at first I wondered what they were and thought should I seek some medical advice, however, within a week, those black dots had all developed into tiny hairs, wow I thought, I am going to be hairy all over, the tiny hairs were everywhere, pubes, legs, arms and all over my chest. Within a year at 14 I had got really hairy on legs and pubes as well as under my arms, the hair on my chest at that time were still just very small but by 16 they too were starting to grow as well. I have a very hairy neck, at that time my father made me go to the barbers every 2 or 3 weeks to get my hair and neck cut and shaved. I also developed very hairy shoulders, I always wondered why they were so hairy, I found out that all the hairs on my shoulders were caused by the neck hair extending down over them when I looked though a 2 way mirror just before I got my hair cut. I would advise any 13 or 14 year old boy to accept his hairiness as a sign of becoming a man, don't worry about being hairy, concentrate on your school work and if you are the boy with the hairiest legs in the class and the most amount of pubic hair like I was at 14 be proud of that, don't go around boasting, just be what I felt at that age, happy within yourself.

We have a lot of double standards in this country. Only girls are allowed to shave their legs and armpits, and men are not. In most other cultures in the world, women don't even shave there at all. But many men do shave their chest and belly hair.... and even more. I don't understand it all myself. I have a couple of male friends that do shave their legs in summer especially because they wear shorts a lot and say it looks better. I have to agree. It's just that we are not used to seeing a man without hairy legs! There are some men that have very little body hair, and then some have more than they need. Perhaps you can join your swim team. They all shave, because it makes them faster in the water (so they say) and you can use that as an excuse. The little hair we have doesn't help to keep us warm, or to offer any protection, so there is no other reason to have it. It's all a very personal thing -- if you want to do it, then it is up to you. Your mother or father may have a different idea... but times do change.

Look at your male relatives. Are they hairy? They are your best clue as to what you will look like when you are grown. If you already have quite a bit of hair, most likely you'll have a full crop of hair by the time you are 20. It also doesn't stop growing, and spreading. Guys with hairy chests at 20 often have hairy backs at 30. At 40 you get hairy ears! Get used to it, part of being a male; focus on the benefits of being a guy, though.

Don't worry, this happens to a lot of kids. Some people it takes longer for and for some people, it never appears. You might get more as you get older.

It is normal if the sexual development already is started!
A side from the hair, you can verify that if others changes are happening in the meanwhile (penis and testicles development with wish to masturbate, voice, beard, height, etc.).
Yep, generally with age hair increases even.
