I just CAN'T get a tan. My friends are always teasing me about how white I am, and on that my best friend said today that particularly hurt was when we were joking around, but he seemed serious. I said "Jake, did the doctors drop you on your head when you were little", because he said somthing a little crazy, and immediately after i said "sorry man just joking." But then he said "did the doctors drop you in a bucket of bleach?" and never said anything like he was joking. That really hurt. And I spend lots of time outside, and can only have a tan for about 5 minutes it seems.

If noise cancellation technology uses a microphone to detect sound, then digitally processes the sound sample and outputs an 'opposite' sound to balance the two out which simulates silence, wouldn't it seem feasible to obtain a digital recording of what the device sends out to the headset?

Example for use (MY GOAL!): Burn a noise cancelling audio CD to make my Toyota Avalon a bit less noisy on the freeway. I have searched high and low online for answers, but have not found any sort of "universal noise cancelling audio track." Any/all info would be great- thanks a trillion! :-)

I met 'him' four years ago at the worst point in my life. He was so good to me and helped me through so much. We dated for awhile, but I needed to be alone and stand on my own two feet. I was devastated when he told me that was what I needed, but I realized very soon after that I could have never loved him if I didn't love myself first. We both ended up going our seperate ways but have stayed in touch, and every time we talk there is always SO much chemistry between us everytime we talk. I have been with my boyfriend for a year and a half and I love him with all of my heart. Tonight, I talked to 'him' and I talked openly about my boyfriend for the first time(he knew about him, it just was not brought up in our conversations) and he was strangely quite. I finally asked him if he needed to go and he said, "yes. I miss you. Take care." and hung up. What does that mean?????

Now, I dont want any liberal bleeding heart ignorant bullshit. first and formost, i'm not southern, i'm not a redneck. In MY HOUSE, we are not racist (although some may think so, because of our pride of white heritage) BUT...I love my race, and would like for it to be here for generations to come, just as I hope for the other races! Black Power! Hispanic Power! Asian Power! and etc, BUT, seperately...I would like for my daughter to have pride in and further our race, but she is dating a mixed man (whom I do not dislike) but we really pride ourselves on the preservation of our race. I love my daughter and would NEVER force her to do anything against her will, and let me say again for those who are too ignorant to understand this topic, I AM NOT RACIST, but are there any ways to help my daughter appreciate her heritage more?

I have a cat trap and I set it next to my house.. and I trapped a raccoon!!!! I am scared- is it common for raccoons to attack you after you let them go? because that's what i'm afraid of.. I want to let the poor thing go ASAP but I just don't want it to hurt me! help!
