Explain where Adam and Eve's sons' wives came from (Eve's daughters? so incest is okay, yeah? if it was good enough for the first humans, good enough for us. No I'm not supporting, I'm stating a fact)

Your god is all forgiving. Yet I'm damned to hell for telling people I don't want to worship his son.

Lilith. Didn't exist. She's a creation of the church to explain away discrepancies in creation myths, and, my friend tells me, to make divorce seem okay.

Lucifer, Satan etc. Is a mistranslation. Can't find the exact page because the entire world is swamped with the bible information that is in the bible today.

Your god says homosexuality is wrong and yet at the same time says that its okay to take slaves so long as they are of another nation yet we threw out the practice of slave taking long ago.

I'm not entirely trying to be mean, these are just some of the reasons why I refuse to believe your god exists.

Also. God forgot about Noah. All seeing, all knowing god forgot about his errand boy.

Why not give reason a chance and see if what we say is true or not? What do you have to lose? Don't let us atheists who have failed to explain the true naturre of the universe rob you of the answers that you could find yourself if you'd only use your brain.

The OP's question sounds suspiciously like Pascals Wager, when he declared that it's better to believe in God and be either right or wrong, than to not believe in God and be wrong...this was soon found to be a logical fallacy.

This is exactly how Christianity spread in the first place. No commitment other than bribing the chuch for 10% pre-tax income and enternal bliss is yours. By the way if you don't convert, we'll conquer you.

I am constantly told that the gods of pagans will let pagans down. So far, the only god to have let me down has been the war god Jehovah.

Been there, done that. Life is too short to do it again, absent at least some shred of evidence that would suggest the possible success of the effort.

great question.

But Human Pride is what keeps people from giving God a chance. It's the root of all sin and evil in this world.

Been there and done that. Thank you but it didn't do anything for me.

I do have to say that your question is one of the better I have seen from those who believe. Very respectful.

I believed that, I preached that. Then I saw the light. There is no god.

Thanks, but no thanks. Tried christianity. Know what I am missing. Happy with the way my life is.

Why don't you try being agnostic or atheist? see what life is like thinking for yourself and making your own choices and prioritising your own values?
