i was just wondering how do they get the movie starts to cry on some part of the movie do they,tell them something bad or something that hurts there feelings or do they think of something really bad that happen to them before or some who died ?

Some can do it using emotional recall. Some are such good actors that they completely inhabit the character they are playing and therefore cry because the character would indeed cry.
If they cannot achieve this through talent, it is common to blow into the eyes with a straw, believe it or not. However, if they wear contacts, often they just use drops.

The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Bella Mafia + Danielle Steel's The Ring (Both are Nastassja Kinski movies, she always makes me cry :"( ,Titanic, Terminator 2, The Last Samurai, This is my father, Little Women, Mystic River, The Terminal, E.T & Disney's Snow White, Cinderella, Bambi and The Lion King hmmm.. that's all i can think of right now^^; ty ^_^

some actors are able to cry on their own. There is a story that it was either Judy Garland's on Natalie Wood's mom told her daughter to think about someone ripping the wings off of butterflies. (parents can be so derranged). If all else fails, they use glycerin drops which causes the eyes to naturally tear up

they usaully have the actors think of something in their past life thats really sad or the makeup artist puts water tears in their eyes...thats usually how they do it.
