There are houses made from matchsticks.
The first pattern has 1 house and 6 matchsticks.
The second pattern has 2 houses and 12 matchsticks
The third pattern has 3 houses and 18 matchsticks.
There is also a graph with the number of match sticks on it. One side of the graph is the number of matchsticks (m). The other side is the pattern numer (n).
The graph has three points, one at (6,1), another at (12, 2), and the last one at (18, 3)
I need a formula for m in terms of n, but i don't get it. Can you help?
Sorry if you don't get i didnt know how to explain it properly.
