I stopped at 13, owing to a shift in neighborhoods.
My son went until he was 15, my daughter still goes at 14

Yes, at least in this family. My daughter will be turning 18 and she still wants to trick or treating! I think I quit trick or treating when I was in 8th grade, so that would be around 14, 15, 16 years old. After that on Halloween, I would hang out with my friends, help hand out candy at home and one time me and my friends toilet papered and egged and soaped the windows of our science teacher! I know it wasn't nice, but he was never around to pass out candy on Halloween!

I think it depends on the child. My children at 15 thought it was a little immature. So they had a Holloween party for their friends at our home. They had a blast. They dressed up and won a prize for the best dressed.. But it is still fun for those that like to still trick or treat. Just have fun no matter what you decide to do. Just be careful out there.

My opinion is that trick or treating should stop about the time that puberty begins. It's cute to see little kids all dressed up at your door......NOT so cute to see pre-adults there, begging for candy.
I think 15 is several years too old.

The law growing up was always 12 age limit. Now days I believe it still is BUT most communities have outlawed it due to ignorant people doing bad things to the treats they give out. Here in Baltimore you can take your candy to the hospital to have it x-rayed to make sure it is safe to eat and not needles, etc. is in it.
SAD!!!! Most people have their own parties, that way they know who is there and what is to be eaten

Oh absolutely! I stopped when i was 13 however but most people I knew still went at 15, 16..etc. When i was 15 (now continuing at 18) basically i got together with a group of friends and just ran around at night causing mischeif and having fun. And i still do that every year, its a ton of fun an theres no reason to stop having fun just because of age.
