My hot water tank is currently heated by solar panels boosted from autumn to early spring by a woodburning stove which also heats the radiators. The problem is that outside of summer there is no hot water unless the stove is lit - and to keep the stove going you need to be home to keep adding logs. I would like to have an immersion heater to use as a back-up system so that hot water is quickly available in winter (within however long the immersion may take to heat the tank) without having to light the stove.
My tank does not have an immersion fitted - is it possible to add one now or would I need a new tank?
Any other suggestions for a hot water supply which isn't dependent on being at home all the time shovelling logs into the stove but doesn't involve a whole new heating system (mains gas is not available) would be very welcome .

he eats 6oz every 3 hours and now he seems to not be getting full, do i bump him up to 8oz every 3 hours (which seems like alot to me) or should i start on rice cereal??? ive heard lots of both, but the dr. said not to start on cereal this young b/c it can lead to diabetes???? but every mom says thats not true......

i've dated my bf almost 1 year and i really love him a lot.but there's a problem.I think he's ex still likes him because she goes around asking people if he has a gf.Then,she soon found out that im his gf and keep asking people about me.It's so damn annoying.whenever im with my bf she will keep looking at the both of us.sometimes she will take an oppurtunity to talk to him even though she knows that im his gf.her action has cause me and my bf to fight really often.i really hate her and my bf too hated her.i feel like slapping her and telling her off.should i do that?i hate people who mess up with me and my bf.i will let that person pay for what he or she does to our relationship.should i go ahead and slap her??
