15 pounds of ugly fat? Cut off your head!
Just kidding.
Losing weight is usually NOT a good idea. Changing your lifestyle to include healthy eating and adding exercise will allow you to lose weight and make you fee better. You will also look better, even though you may not lose weight, you will have lost fat and gained muscle.

The most effective weight loss plans are those that have you make realistic adjustments to your diet and exercise routine. The bottom line for losing weight is burning more calories than you take in. But diet drinks and crash diet plans tend not to work out well in the long run.
DO eat regular foods. Just less of them. DO exercise more. Even a little bit can go a long way.
AVOID desserts, alcohol, fried foods, most fast food. These things tend to pack on the calories FAST! Also don't drink regular soda. Drop these things and you will drop pounds. Good luck.

Trust me I've been through experience and if you exercise, count calorieies each day(limited 1,400cal.), stick with three meals a day, and once again excercise for at least 2 hours a day , you will accomplich losing 10 pounds a week..........In fact I'm doing exactly like that except I also keep a food diary and guess what I lost 13 pounds in one week SO GOOD LUCK! Also drink 8 glass of water:)

Along with a low fat diet and exercise I gave up on sodas and began drinking nothing but Crystal light and water. I have lost 15 lbs in only 6 weeks.

I lost 15lbs by going to Weight Watcher's meetings, grabbing recipes off of their website. It took me about a month to do it. I'm not a healthy eater so veg & fruit were not big for me, I went the Weight Watcher's frozen foods, Lean Cuisine foods for lunch and or dinner. Their program, I found great to work within anyone's lifestyle, Huge choices in a big book they give you for points, both name brand items but also generic foods so you don't have to go to specialty shops. THEN, I walked everyday! 3 miles per day, good quick pace. AMAZING. My first week I lost 5lbs, then after that was a very steady 2-3lbs per week. I stayed with the meetings until I felt the self control to fly solo. I still go back to WW meals and kept my guide book to foods. But I found when I cheated on the walking, that weeks weight loss was affected. It's not a diet or fad, it's definitely a lifestyle change, but it offers ideas for you to incorportate into your family so you're not cooking separate foods for yourself. You can go out to dinner and have an idea of what size and how to have foods cooked. And they are very good at teaching you to maintain your loss, they don't just try to get you to you loss and then say bye bye. Good luck and get walking, get mp3 player or books on tape, 3 miles only takes me about 35 minutes.

Keep a food journal.Think about the foods/beverages that you eat that may contain the highest amounts of fats/calories/sodium such as sodas & fried foods.Cutting your carbs down will help too, switch to wheat pasta & breads rather than white flour ones.

I lost 20 pounds by just cutting down a little a day.
No donut for breakfast.
No Coke with lunch.
It took six months, but I kept it off.

Well, it all depends on what your lifestyle is like now, and how to change it. For me, I need to eat less sugar and fat!
