Well I have this friend and ever since this summer me and her have been planning to do a speech together. Well, I joined the speech club she is in. We worked for a long time trying to find a piece to do for our speech, and now my mom wants mt to quit speech class. Mom really wants me to quit, but I dont want to turn on my friend! What do I do? I sent an email to my friend and told her I'm WAY WAYYY sorry I cant do the speech and she sent me an email back telling me she couldnt stop crying and she was really upset. What do I do?????

Engineering and Science subjects have been declining in schools, colleges and universities for many years with fewer students being attracted into these career paths - as such our UK engineering and scientific base is being eroded. The UK Gov't appears not to care as within its own ranks Engineers and Scientists are not valued as highly as Administrators, Lawyers and Accountants.

we have a 10 month old and I feel ready to have another I don't want my son to be an only child. but my husband says no he does not want anymore what can I doI love him dearly but he knew I wanted two children when we got married. we are builting a dam for domestic purposes on the highlands (of 2400m asl) to supply it to lowland (0m asl). the horizontal distance would be 60km at most. for this purpose we are going to use a 250mm diameter pipes, from the dam to the lowland city.

It is just came to mind if the gravity difference could be of any use, as we will have high potential energy. Is there any technology that can change this potential engery (hydroulic) of the piped water into some other form like electical energy that would be used for other small purposes. give me if you have any clue, it is really not a hypothetical quiestion.
