Well, I would first want to look at the factors to you having large breasts. What is your body type? Are you a BBW, small petite, or avg?
If you are a BBW, I would first look in to some upper body exercises that would help reduce the fat content in those areas. Doing some low impact workout might make you feel more energized to do more.
If you are a small petite woman, except for that area, I would discuss things with your dr.
Avg and just really large in that area, what are you symptoms?
All three body types, Definitly see your dr to discuss issues you might be having. He'll ask you some of the following questions.... Is it just because of the comments? Are you having chronic back problems? Do you notice indentions where your bra straps sit? Do you feel more at least if the weight is relieved? (ex. you have something to rest the weight of your chest on?)
I know it's difficult to deal with the comments and if that would be the only reason you are considering having a reduction done..... Don't.... Surgery is a serious commitment and having 38F naturally is quite a feat some women pay LOTS of money for time and time again.

All the women out there having naff bits of plastic stuck into themselves to look like you, and you aren't grateful for the real thing? Enough men like natural 38Fs that you can have the last laugh by keeping what you have got. People who are rude about work done still will when you really have had some, so don't get yourself hacked about for nothing. Breast reductions are GRUESOME surgery.

I am a 30G and they are all real. People often think I have had "work done" because I have a slender figure (UK size 12 apart from my mammary glands!)
I would not have them reduced because I think they are fabulous and they are a part of me. I think false boobs look horrible. You can tell the difference from looking and they can be to big. Don't mess around with what nature gave you, I bet you look great just as you are and just think about all those women who pay to have breast enlargement! They are part of you! Love yourself and your boobs, don't get left with a scar like that, my sis had it done and it's a big scar. It's not worth it.
Incidentally I have had a baby and am breast feeding and I was worried they would grow to ridiculous proportions. They didn't and
work fine!

It all depends on who you ask. I'm approximately the same size as you and I absolutely hate it. I've been wanting a reduction ever since the 4th grade, believe it or not. They're way too big, they're uncomfortable, I've got permanent dents in my shoulders from my bras trying to support so much, it's hard finding bras and clothes that fit right and look good, and they frequently get in the way. I really want mine gone. I actually tried to get my insurance company to pay for it, and I had several doctors backing me up. Unfortunately, I got a letter back basically saying I wasn't suffering enough for them to pay for it. Figures...

Yes, breasts can be too large, if a woman is having back problems in addition to self-image issues becase of their size. People who accuse you of having work done are obviously jealous and you do not need them to validate you and how you feel about yourself. If you want to have a reduction, make certain that it's because YOU want to and not because of other people's opinions. Good luck.

Ignore small minded people. You know they are natural and thats all that counts you dont have to prove it to anyone. I had size 44ee when i was 17yrs old and i thought they were too big. I since at age 21yrs had a reduction on the NHS to a size 36c but following my pregnancies they are now a 44d. I am happy with them now but i was miserable for a long time.
Boobs can be too big but i dont consider yours to be too big. Depends how you feel about them.

Yes they can. If you have "dents" in your shoulders from the straps, back aches, head aches, neck aches, rashes, they are too big. I have the same problem, and am looking forward to when I can get mine done. Any one who thinks boobs can never be too big needs to sling two ten pound bags of flour around their neck for a week and then decide! (I tell my husband that all the time!)

Women with larger breasts, particularly those who are small-framed, often develop back problems and many opt for reduction surgery simply to avoid this issue. In that sense, yes, breasts can be too large. However, reduction surgery is a serious consideration, not to be undertaken lightly. Talk with your doctor before opting for this soultion, as he or she may be able to recommend other options that are less extreme.
As for the comments you receive, just ignore them.

I get accused of it too and I'm only a 36D, all because I'm short and Asian. My back hurts sometimes, but I still think I wouldn't consider surgery until it's really making my life miserable. I can think of several ways how the operation can make things only worse.

Definately they can be too big and breast reduction is a good idea especially if you have constant back pain and your bra digs into your shoulders . I don't even know why so many women would want to have implants boobs just get in they anyway!
