How much water do I put in my crock pot if I'm using about 2 cups (1 pound) of dry beans?

~*~Beans sound real good, especially since it's a bit of a chilly day here in Kansas.

Anyway, from what I can tell by all the recipes I checked for you, you should put in enough water to cover your beans. That's it!

You want to just cover the beans.

i use about 2 inches above the level of the beans.
