Is it just me, or what is this term 'brotgers'? Is a brotger some sort of relative of a bratwurst? Do I pour ketchup over it, or add cream?

Your actions don't make you gay. Your desires do. If neither of those brothers want to sleep with a man, then they are straight. If one or the other does want to sleep with a man, then they are gay.
Companionship between men doesn't make them gay; it makes them human. We're social animals, and we all need friends. Men, guess what, have emotions, too, and that doesn't make them gay, either. Again, makes them human. These are the sorts of things that make me glad I'm a woman. Yeah, there's rape and there's systematic sexism, but at least I don't have to pretend to be a robot to be accepted by my culture. Sorry, guys, you really got the short end of the stick on that one.
