Gladiator is one of the best movies ever made. Russell Crowe played an estatic role and the movie was awesome.

Great movie and deserved all the awards it won. It SHOULD have won an Academy Award for the incredible original score which went to Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, a movie I own but whose score is not in the same league...

i luuuv it. it's one of the best movies EVER!!!!! and Russel Crowe is sooooo good!!! i don't like Juaqin Phoenix though. btw, ever seen Troy (Brad Pitt, Eric Bana, Orlando Bloom, Peter O'Toole)? Pirates of the Carribean (Johny Depp, Keira Knightly, Orlando Bloom)? The Rock (Nicholas Cage, Sean Connery, Ed Harris)? Kingdom of Heven (Orando Bloom)? Lord of the Rings (Viggo Mortenson, Orlando Bloom, Elijah Wood, Billy Boyd, Lyv Tyler)? the graphics are UNBELIEVABLE, specially when it comes to the battle scenes.

a million) i've got seen many(ok some) bare grown adult males. it quite is extraordinarily much real that once you have seen one, you have seen all of them. 2) Gladiator video clips are ok. yet while the gladiators have been bare, nicely, then we'd have a various tale.

Awesome - Russell Crowe was so damn fine in that movie!
Besides his hottnes, it was a great movie. I know a lot of Roman beliefs and society and the movie was historically accurate enough. But besides the history mistakes, it was overall a good movie.

Maximulus (Crowe) was magnificent in this role, having been a Roman General and adopted son of Caesar; betrayed, his family murdered - he is sold into slavery...defies an emperor, Commodus (Phoenix) but exacts his revenge! I loved it. Crowe showed the emotion of grief very well with the loss of his family and the strength he summoned to get his revenge. Brillant acting!
