I and others have posted obvious, over-the-top satirical/sarcastic questions and the sarcastically-deficient crowd always chimes in with literalism. How can we help them?

Muslims should be able to wear whatever they want just like everybody else in this country. Its their right to wear veil, its not only their right its also their duty to follow the religion as they have been preached by their religion. It is worn as a sign of respect and a traditional muslim woman without a veil would be seen as disrespecting her husband and society.. Everyone has the right to wear whatever they please as long as its not harming anyone else. And a veil harms nobody. its a free country some people want to cover up as a visible symbol of their faith. . If they think that their hair or their faces should be seen only by their husbands, then it's none of our business.

U.S. casino magnate gives Picasso's dream the elbow
Wed Oct 18,
Picasso's famed "Dream" painting turned into a nightmare for Las Vegas casino magnate Steve Wynn when he accidentally gave the multimillion dollar canvas an elbow.

Wynn had just finalized a $139 million sale to another collector of his painting, called "Le Reve" (The Dream), when he poked a finger-sized hole in the artwork while showing it to friends at his Las Vegas office a couple of weeks ago.

Director and screenwriter Nora Ephron, who witnessed and related the incident in her blog on the Huffington Post Web site (www.huffingtonpost.com), said Wynn had raised his hand to show the group something about Picasso's 1932 portrait of his mistress Marie-Therese Walter.

"At that moment, his elbow crashed backward right through the canvas. There was a terrible noise," Ephron wrote, noting that Wynn has retinitis pigmentosa, an eye disease that damages peripheral vision. "Smack in the middle ... was a black hole the size of a silver dollar.

I am not a typical perfectionist, if I am one at all. I count and regimate the calories I consume from food (800-1000), won't eat "bad" food, count my alcohol drinks (4-5 per night), work out 30-60 minutes per day. I'm a painter and all my friends are musicians, artists, writers and drunks. I am too. I am just the only one obsessed with being "perfect". weight must never exceed 99 lbs, always look pretty, always be reading a new book, always keep the house clean- but not too clean, always be listening to a newly discovered artists' cd, always be "into" a new painter or outsider artist, etc. Maybe i'm not a perfectionist; maybe i'm just flippin' weird.

i do have panic attacks from time to time, by they are usually pot-induced so i'm not too worried about that.

No matter what the circumstances wheather they are rape or some other kind of sick act a human life is still human life.A baby becomes a baby the moment the sperm fertilizes the egg. the fetus isn't just a blob of tissue it is a human being that deserves life.

Not that I must add that I think any parent walking out on their children is at all the right thing to do - I have a gorgeous 2 year old daughter and cannot imagine ever not wanting her in my life or not waking up each day feeling blessed..

That said her biological father has done nothing for her..not that she has missed out - I do everything and more to make sure that as far as possible she won't suffer because of his decision..

The reason I ask is that there is a programme on tonight on beeb2 about women who walk out on their children..whether the trailer is representative of not I don't know but the impression was given that the women who left were such awful people - and by contrast the single Dads almost heroic.

As a single mother who works hard I sometimes feel there is a double standard with single Dads given more support (from female relatives/pals) and more recognition. Just my view and since single Dads make up only 2% of all lone parents this seems unfair..

I want to lose weight. I am already going to join Curves but I need to change my food habits as well. Has anyone tried any of these programs and what is your opinion of them. If you have tried a program that is good for long term food habits that I don't suggest feel free to add them. I really don't want to put money into a program and it not be effective

LA Weight Loss
Curves-has their own book about a weight loss diet.

This is for my public speaking class, thank you to all who can to help out. (I think it should only be legal in the case of rape, or endangerment to the mother.) And please, I DO NOT want any websites for videos or what not posted on for this question. Please just post your opinion, and why or why not.

Two girls in two months, no problem when they caress it in the way that only they can do, but when I go to put the condom on and put it in, it gets soft.

The only other time this has happened to me was with another girl years ago after we changed positions, and in that case, I couldn't get it back up at all. With the recent ones, it has only been when I try to put it in.

No nicotine, some caffeine, a little tired. Could it be the condom? It is a different brand than what I am used to.
