Yes I agree, you shouldn't have an abortion because you shouldn't decide the fate of that child. They do deserve the life they are given.

You can look at it that way yes... But if you look at it that way then in some instances where a mother is told by her doctor she will not be able to survive if this child is born... then you can call giving birth murder too.!! There are many women in this world who die during child birth.. but you don't hear anyones views on that you only hear these one sided people like you who only go against abortion.
There are other instances when someone may have a deadly disease and are not aware of this until they have their tests done by the doctor when they find out they are pregnant... Do you want your child to be born with this deadly disease? If so ... either way it would be murder.
I am not saying that I am for abortion.. but I am saying there are cases out there that could be viewed in different perspectives. You have your opinion and others have theirs!

stepping on an acorn is not the same as cutting down an oak tree.
a zygote is a potential human being but is not yet a human being
you and the government need to keep your noses out what goes on between a woman and her doctor.
if you feel a sincere need to help children start protecting, feeding, housing and educating the ones already here on the planet. or is it just easier to try to undermine a woman's right of choice, a woman's autonomy over her own body than it is to actively DO something for the poor and unwanted children that already exist as sentient human beings?
PS. what have you done by way of advocacy for male birth control? do you protest the use of Viagra by unmarried men?
since you believe that the government should intercede between a doctor and a patient perhaps a law should be passed making it illegal to prescribe Viagra etc to unmarried men. how about you and all your moralizing anti-Choice cohorts taking that idea and running with it? what?! men be held as responsible as women for the creation of unwanted pregnancies?! that's just crazy talk. right?

i personally believe abortion is wrong, but should be allowed under certain circumstances. If the baby or mother's life is endangered, then it should be done. Or if the baby will be terminally ill and it known.
But for a woman to just be able to go and have an abortion just because she got pregnant, while not using any protection, then its wrong. She should have thought about it before she done it.
If a man gets a woman pregnant, he has to step up and be a father. So what right does a woman have to say she doesn't want a child and give it up to an abortion??

I Think abortion is murder! UNLESS It has to do with rape because if you think about it what if a young girl gets raped at lets say 15 and gets pregnant from it or also if a women who if she had a baby she will die or a woman with aids that's having a baby and might give the baby HIV abortion is okay under a few circumstances in my opinion

Genesis 2:7 states "And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. (NKJV) This tells me are not living until we breathe. I would also like to say that if we respected and nurtured each other the way Jesus instructed, all people would be wanted and abortion would be unnecessary.

i hope you adopt kids then. because if all you guys that are anti-abortion dont do anything about the kids that are put up for adoption your just as bad. where in the bible does it talk about abortion being murder? you do know abortion existed during the time of jesus as well right? there were herbs and even ancient surgical practices that were for this cause. (and please dont say "thou shalt not kill" because im talking about a straight up verse that states killing an unborn child"
i guess i should state that im pro choice. that i dont think you have the right to take someone elses choices away. you all believe in free will, yet you want to take freedoms away from people.

Abortion is not murder. A fetus is not considered a human life.
If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine. And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life. -- Exodus 21:22-23
The Bible places no value on fetuses or infants less than one month old.
And if it be from a month old even unto five years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male five shekels of silver, and for the female thy estimation shall be three shekels of silver. -- Leviticus 27:6
Fetuses and infants less than one month old are not considered persons.
Number the children of Levi after the house of their fathers, by their families: every male from a month old and upward shalt thou number them. And Moses numbered them according to the word of the LORD. -- Numbers 3:15-16
God sometimes approves of killing fetuses.
And Moses said unto them, Have ye saved all the women alive? ... Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. -- Numbers 31:15-17
(Some of the non-virgin women must have been pregnant. They would have been killed along with their unborn fetuses.)
Give them, O LORD: what wilt thou give? give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts. -- Hosea 9:14
Yea, though they bring forth, yet will I slay even the beloved fruit of their womb. -- Hosea 9:16
Samaria shall become desolate; for she hath rebelled against her God: they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up. -- Hosea 13:16

I don't consider abortion to be murder b/c it does not fit the definition of murder, which is:
"Law. the killing of another human being under conditions specifically covered in law. In the U.S., special statutory definitions include murder committed with malice aforethought, characterized by deliberation or premeditation or occurring during the commission of another serious crime, as robbery or arson (first-degree murder), and murder by intent but without deliberation or premeditation (second-degree murder)."
People can determine if they believe it is wrong or not but it is misleading to suggest that it is murder since it doesn't fit the legal def.

I hear what you are saying, and I have wondered about this myself. I even wonder if the life starts even before the egg and sperm connect? Perhaps that's why so many religions frown on masturbation.

I agree with you except if the abortion is needed to save the mother.
According to the Bible at the point of conception you are a soul.
Psa 51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
Even if you have a abortion God will forgive you if you come to him and
become one of his children then repent and let God heal you.
In Christ in Love,
