Maybe this new boyfriend, as great as he is, just isn't the right one for you. You also might have some unresolved hurt/anger over the last boyfriend. Listen to your heart. Is this new bf someone your truly interested in or is he a band aid to make your last breakup not so painful. A lot of people (myself included) have done the rebound thing. You break up with someone you really love and are still not over and you get a new partner but your not ready to. End result is that these rebound relationships hardly ever succeed because there is too much unresolved emotional baggage involved. If you really like this new guy then give him a chance. He may sense that you still have feelings for your ex and maybe that's why he's being clingy. You need to listen to your heart and figure out what this new guy means to you and then act accordingly.

Because you really liked him and you are only remembering the good times you two had together but there is nothing wrong with that I have a boyfriend and time to time I still think of an ex but I would NEVER be with that guy again me and he don't get along anymore but my boyfriend to me is the most amazing person I know

You could be thinking about him for a lot of different reasons. To name a few:
The amount your relationship was.
Depending if he was your first boyfriend (or first anything).
The wisdom you learned from that relationship.
Perhaps maybe some of the mistakes you learned from that you're carrying over to this new relationship.
But to answer your question if it's wrong, most certainly is not!! You could be the type of person that doesn't let the past go and wants to grow from it.
Well that's just a little something, but yeah, there are a lot of possibilities.

For whatever reason we are all attracted to difficult people and relationships and are turned off by easy nice relationships. There is nothing wrong with thinking about someone and absolutely nothing wrong with wearing the ring he gave you. You just have to be smart enough to keep choosing the good guy over the bad one.

You still think about your ex because you cant turn back time but you could forget about him the time you shared is your memory. I have the same problems sometimes but you shouldn't compare them because not all guys are alike. The ring you should put it on a necklace because your current bf will suspect this but you could also tell him your feelings

Because you still have the ring and obviously you had some type of sexual relationship, so it meant something to you.
