I am 38 weeks pregnant. My last appointment was last wednesday and I was 1cm dilated, 90%effaced, soft and up-close. I have an appointment tomorrow and I was wondering if I am dilated more will they send me to the hospital? I have heard that when some women go to the doc. they find out they have dilated a whole lot more they will go straight to the hospital for labor. Why is that, even if they havent naturally gone into labor? and what will they make you do when you go to the hospital? will they induce? thanks! I am new to all of this and just wondering some experiences.

I've read a lot about how the Queen of England isn't really rich herself and that a lot of the property and wealth she has isn't even hers, like it's owned by the crown. But isn't she herself considered the crown? I know a lot of what she owns comes from past queens and kings, but those monarchs can't technically own it because of their death, right?

A few weeks ago, a paper was stuck in my printer when I was printing something and after I pulled it out, the printing quality has decreased. Whenever I print a paper, the worlds are barely visible, only some lines are clear and dark. Does anyone know how to fix this?

we know justice causes happiness, we know we have extreme injustice, so we nearly know we can be extremely happier
extremely happier is nice, yes?
when everyone knows we can be extremely happier by recognising & outlawing overpay, we can get it without a fight

OK so i was walking my dog and she just started to take off and i fell on top of her and managed to do something to my bad foot, the one i bruised severley a few weeks ago. My parents are out at my little brothers hockey game and its swelling, doesnt look good. i`m guessing its broken, because of past problems. Any suggestions until the rents get home?

It was a chinese foreign student, i was helping her cause she didn't have classes in summer break but now she's back to school and now we don't meet. I was beginning to feel happy since i don't have friends, taht was my only kind of friend that i had. Now it's over and i'm back to my lonely life. Every now and then a friend or acquaintance informs me that someone they know has died - perhaps a parent, sibling or even a good friend. I always feel at a loss as to what to say in these situations. Is there an appropriate way to react/respond? Does anyone have a simple phrase that you can use in such situations to express your empathy without sounding overly soppy and sentimental but without also sounding careless and callous?
