devoted EAGLE fan.... very good game but when the the EAGLES lose they always seem to beat themselves..1 DUMB ACE penalty change the game....

I am a die-hard Eagles fan but I'm a little disappointed in the fact that they have been either starting off slow or not finishing the game. I'd like to see them go out there and play a full 60 minutes as if the season depended on it. The only time I saw the birds go out and fight the entire game was last week against Dallas. I know they're a playoff team. I know they can beat any team in the NFL. But they need to start playing smarter football. They need some urgency, some killer instinct. The amount of penalties yesterday was unbelievable!! Some were bad calls but the majority of them were legit. Eight penalties costing us 67 yards!! penalties cost us that game... that and missed opportunities. You can say "it's only one game" or "we're still on top" but look at the big picture... look at the teams we face in the final 6 games of our season... 4 of them being away games. To me it's not that we lost a football game in week 6. It's THE WAY we lost... and THE WAY we lost the game to NY... But, now we move on. And I believe that they will only get better as the season goes on... We have to prepare for the Bears in January!!!! GO EAGLES!!!!!!!!

No, Im pretty sure it was that black and gold team that beat them....I think they are called the Saints!
And everyone knows that every team out there would have done the same by taking 3 knees with 2 mins left whent the opponent has no timeouts....It's what you do to get the win and thats all that matters.

yea i am a devoted eagles fan to but they always manage to mess up one thing and that one thing ruins the game. so technically they are beating themselves

Dude who doesn't love the Eagles. Yeah i was pretty steemed when they lost, at least 2nd half offense looked good, and you pretty much answered your own question with penalty. I like to also add that the Saints are pansy girls because they just ran the clock like they were gay...

ehhh....I'd have to say no. New Orleans dominated that game from the beginning....you either win or you lose...doesn't really matter why. Eagles lost today....
