It depends on what you look like ,I mean can you pass as a Mexican? Why would you and why are you ashamed to be born in one of the greatest countries? Why deny where you were born? We got problems, but so do other countries some a whole hellafva lot worse. If your ashamed to admit your American because of politics that changes. But no matter what I would never deny that I am a American.I have no shame.

Liberty, rightly understood "Enlighten the folk often, and tyranny and oppressions of physique and strategies will vanish like evil spirits on the daybreak of day. whether i do no longer, with some followers, have faith that the human concern will ever strengthen to this form of state of perfection as that there shall now no longer be soreness or vice interior the international, yet i've got faith it vulnerable of plenty progression, and maximum of all, in concerns of government and faith; and that the diffusion of wisdom between the folk is to be the device via which that's to be effected." Thomas Jefferson; letter to P. S. Dupont de Nemours (April 24, 1816)

After following your question, comments I have suggestion for when you get to Mexico, stay. It is OK to have a different point of view even to dislike the US, what is not alright is to insult, embarrass or hurt people like you have been doing. I know many of the regulars have turned you in for abuse, in fact I understand you have the third highest complaints. We all are waiting for your answer about the legless vet, I want to see the bumper sticker you claim he has displayed. I also hope you did not tell to put his leg back on as he was out of place! I believe I know how he feels one does not want special attention, or to even be thanked. But as I mention before him trying to fix his leg is no different from you getting a nail out of your shoe.

Well, considering that most other countries, with the exception of Switzerland or a FEW other European countries, are complete shitholes, I'd say...
Idk, move there. Why don't you live in Mexico? Or Canada for that matter?

Why Should anyone be ashamed to be associated w/The greatesr Country on Earth. Think about it. The freedom to criticize your very own president and not get locked up. or protest legally in front of his house in Texas. Proud to be an American ( i came here from another country). Please try to realize what you have here we dont have elsewhere.

I doubt they would believe you in Mexico. I have met a lot of Americans who feel the same way.

No, I'm not ashamed of being born here, just ashamed of some of our policies and our political parties, all of them. I wouldn't lie about being American, that's just stupid.

No, I am proud to be an American. What I am ashamed of is our current governments' policies.
