hhhmmmm....interesting question. i have mixed feelings. i was raised in religious family. and gays represent nothing of God. The Bible (word of God) is against homosexuality.
however, from personal experience of knowing quite a few at college, they are very nice. in fact, many of my guy friends were gay. they were more considerate than the straight guys. even if we "hung out", they paid for everything. it offended them if we refused them to cover us (myself and roommates) for movies or dinners.
the straight guys, freaked out if they had to pay for an extra ice cream cone at an activity.
what they decide in their lives, is between them and God. i have learned that over my college years. i admire them, and loved being around them. i was treated with more respect by the 'gays' than i was by the straights.
gay or straight, when a man opens doors, buys a simple flower, pays for a stupid movie and popcorn, and never once complains about his finances to the world, thats the kind of man/friend i would prefer to be around.
my main group of friends during college, were in fact gay men.
everyone has their opinions, and before anyone can rightfully judge another, one has to know the other person - and be able to judge themselves before another. if that made any sense. ha
like i said, what they do i do not agree with, it is wrong. but i am not one to cast the first stone. that is their decision, and it is between them and God. i will always have mixed feelings about this type of question. it is hard for me to explain.

I like a person based on personality. Don't care if they are gay or straight.

I like gay people( they are hilarious) I do not however like their lifestyle. ( religious reasons) However I have had some great friends who are gay, we just have to agree to disagree.

They are just people , everyone is different.
just because someone is gay does not make them any lesser person.
It may even make them a better person as they have learned to know themself.
