I saw a CNN report about mortgagae fraud. They showed a map of the states with the highest rates of this crime, and California, Nancy's state, was one of them. But I didn't think anything of it until I saw that MARYLAND was also listed, and that's where Pelosi is from! I was APALLED. Anyone know about this?

I am sick, sick, sick of hearing about her and looking at her when she comes out on the news, with her bastard child, the only reason I say bastard is because it is obvious that she probably doesn't even know who the father is. What really irks me is that if other ILLEGAL are being deported, what makes this one so special? There are others that also don't want to leave their so called "citizen kids" behind but immigration sends their criminal behinds out any how so why is this criminal being treated differently?? Does this mean that from now on all ILLEGALS that are about to get deported could just run into a church and they will be spare??

It's a very old computer. Also there are so many pop up false error messages. When I type the letters don't appear for several seconds afterward. I told my boss but he doesn't care, (very low budget). We don't have an IT department to help or do any maintenance. Is there a way to crash it myself? I tried doing all the disk cleanup and other advice for speeding it up that I read on Yahoo answers but it didn't help.

We recently sold our home and moved to a city with a lower cost of living. After paying off all debt, excluding mortgage, we'll have $75k to reinvest. I want to purchase a duplex and keep some cash available for emergencies. My husband does not want the headache of being a landlord, but I feel that real estate is our best investment (it was my convincing him to buy our last home that netted us $174k...Men!) I'm presently not working, but will probably start a job around the first of the year, and my income will be "gravy."

Presently, the money is in a savings acct. earning 5.05% Any suggestions? Neither of us has a retirement plan per se, and don't want to rely on social security in the future.
