I have a 10 month old and I'm debating whether or not to have her vaccinated against the flu this year. Anyone with kids have any experience w/ the flu shot and the effect on your child(ren)? I'm not against vaccinations in general but I'm not completely sure that she needs it. What do you recommend?

FYI...animals spayed or neutered before they reach puberty are more likely to retain their docile adolescent behaviors. Where as animals spayed or neutered afterward tend to continue displaying those annoying adult dog/cat behaviors like marking territory, challenging for top dog/cat status and roaming.

This is why it is best to have them spayed or neutered before they reach 6 months of age.

Many veterinarians are performing these surgeries at 4 to 6 months of age and prefer this because they heal quicker and have less fatty tissue.

I am a college student that is looking for ideas for a multicultural research project to conduct in both Rome and Bejing, China. If I can come up with a good project, I might be able to get my trip to Rome and Bejing paid for. The project can be basically anything I want to research as long as it involves both cultures, since my school has campuses in both Italy and China. I'm wondering if anyone has any insight into contemporary issues facing both countries, in politics or religion or anything, I willing to research just about anything. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

1. Make you more inclined to vote for him.
2. Less inclined to vote for her.
3. Suspicious of their motives
4. Other (explain)

I have to say I generally go with 3. I'm a Christian, but I don't go around when interviewing for a job and tell a prospective employer that I have an active faith life. Maybe if they ask about extracurricular activities I'll mention that I'm a Sunday School teacher, but it's not something I walk in proclaiming.

(PS - the ad I'm talking about is one where the candidate says, "faith and family are the cornerstone of my life," or something similar to that.

The last time I invited a breeder to my home and became involved with them I trusted them enough to watch my dog for a month while I moved, things went downhill. Upon moving and requesting my dog back, they reluctantly told me they lost him. I am now considering a new playmate for my Boxer, and the new breeder wants to see my home and family. I am uneasy, although I understand they want the best for their puppy. WHAT DO I DO???

A TEENAGE girl was questioned by police after allegedly making a racist remark to Asian students in the classroom.
The 14-year-old pupil had refused to take part in a science tutorial with five other students at Harrop Fold High School, Salford, after claiming they didn't speak English.
After questioning by police she was released without charge but the school say they are investigating the matter.

Should'nt we start supporting the firms who manufacture in this country and not the ones who close factories down and re-locate to other countries because they can get cheaper labour. The more we support our own firms then the more people we will have in work.
