I have a ford f100 costume. I am trying to do a rebuild on the carburetor. Can anyone tell me where I can get step by step instructions on how I can do this?

If you can do a Walbro small engine carb you can do this one. Go buy a rebuild kit, and it will have the instructions for you, including float settings and static adjustments on the idle and mixture screws. Regardless of what others may tell you, there is no real difference in the carb on a Tecumseh 5 hp small engine and a Ford inline. Just the size.

Considering the age of your truck and carb you probably should just buy another carb. Sometimes an old carburator cant be rebuilt. If you decide to try it anyway ,when you buy a rebuild kit it will have instuctions on how to do it in the kit.

most carbs can be pretty tricky if you have never done one. call around to local shops you trust to see what they will charge to do it. then weigh their price against possibly spending the money on the kit, the book, and then having to still pay them to do it anyway.

Check with your local parts store..most sell manuals that will help you with your task......also you will need a kit and some good carburetor cleaner...and some rubber gloves.....good luck....
