First, you need to take a course in Pharmacy Technician, most will last about 9 months. Be sure the course does have a good anatomy and physiology portion, that way you can learn about the body. After you take the course, you need to take the state examine to be certified. That will run about $150, but the cost varies from state to state. There are some companies and hospitals out there that would pay for your education and certification, but most of the time you have to be working for them already. It is always best to take a practice test before the actual test, so you have an idea on what kind of questions they ask. You can find those on the internet. Good luck.
