My washing machine just keeps draining all its water! I start the cycle, and it starts the water onto all the clothes...but the water never fills up! Where is it going?!?! Then it starts trying to wash the clothes, sloshing back and forth, but the top half of the clothes are DRY! I made sure both hot and cold water faucet things are turned on, and have checked under the washer on the floor and its dry. What is wrong?!!? PLEASE HELP.

I drive him to school and wherever we want to go, buying way-too-large drinks at the convenience store that are poor for our health and everything, we are best friends. But he is Special Ed., and we are lucky to have him be kind, and helpful in every way he can. He plays jokes and understands his emotions well. Emotions. That's where we have problems. He is very capable, but he does not do his homework correctly, because hew thinks it is a funny joke. What kind of reinforcement can I use with him, to encourage good behavior(learning), and discourage bad behavior(joking)?

Its been 3 months and no period but i am not pregnant. I am experiencing lower back and pelvic pain as well as constipation and headaches. I am very curious what is going on with my body. I have not yet seen my doctor but will do so in the next week. Does/has anyone had these types of symptoms? Please respond if so.

After being lonely my whole life, I now have a girlfriend. My mother never gives me any moral support and nothing is ever good enough for her. She tells me today "you're not in good enough financial shape to support a wife". I've only known the girl for 2 weeks and marriage is probably a year away though. Then later she tells me "I hope you put your arms all the way around her when you hug her." Instead of asking me questions about the girl like what's her name or what religion she is or maybe even congratulations, she's always saying something negative. When my mother hugs me, I probably don't put my arms all the way around her because I can't. She keeps hurting me. I always liked my dad better because he never hurt me like she always did, but I'm sad that he's not here anymore. I put off telling my mother about my girlfriend until today because I thought she might come up with these kind of remarks, and now I know I should have just kept it a secret.

If American society is truly in a downward spiral, can we blame Roe v. Wade as the catalyst? why or why not? OR, alternatively, is it the mere ease of information communication and gathering that is causing and exposing our turmoil. LASTLY, is there really no turmoil in our society, but rather opportunity?
