since I turn 40, I have been looking at my life now and where I thought Id be at this time. Needless to say I m no where near where I thought Id be, after a few set back in life I am still laughing and happy within. My only set back is losing my husband and now being in a non emotional relationship. I am finding that I am more sensitive and I can cry on a dime! I never could do so b4 Is anyone else emotional and analizing life now?

A friend of mine just recently tried to quit smoking cold turkey.. Did good for almost 2 weeks, during that time, she started having some pains in her chest. NOT tightness, sortness of breath or arm pain, But just pain in the chest area.. She said its just a dull ache and not constant. I suggested she contact a help line or a physican. Instead she started back somking again and she said the pain went away.. What could this mean for her.. Also, she has no family history of heart disease either.. Please help!!! She has been somoking for over 20+ years and SHE smokes a pack every 4 days. Any advice or suggestions ..

I'm 14 & I want to learn to play guitar .. I think playing electric guitar sounds hott but I don't know if I should learn acoustic instead or what.

A lady walked into a drugstore and told the pharmacist she needed some cyanide right away. The pharmacist naturally was concerned by such a request and asked, "Why in the world do you need cyanide?"

The lady then explained that she needed it to poison her husband. The pharmacist's eyes got big and he said, "I can't give you cyanide to kill your husband! That's against the law! I'll lose my license. They'll throw both of us in jail and all kinds of bad things will happen! Absolutely not—you cannot have any cyanide!"

The lady reached into her purse and pulled out a picture of her husband in bed with the pharmacist's wife.

The pharmacist looked at the picture and replied, "Well, now. You didn't tell me you had a prescription."

I won't go in deep but I’ll just give a few examples that shame evolution to the core.
The sun is a star and like all stars it's getting smaller in size because it burns. So if you go back millions and millions of years back, the sun would've been huge and the earth would've fried. If the earth was "somehow" farther back and it just scooted closer when the sun burned down, then why isn't it doing it now?
Bombardier Beetle is a perfect example. When threatened it mixes three chemicals it stores which become active and shoot out. Three chambers lead to one room where the chemicals join then fire out. If evolution is in fact real then while all these chambers were in the making all the bugs would keep exploding. The chambers needed to be perfectly placed so they wouldn’t explode. They can’t just evolve perfect.
It must have been created by a more powerful person, God!

She's kind of going over the top this time. She took a brand new case of duct tape and taped my dog to the roof of the trailer. Then she drove my truck (I just washed it last month) into the trash heap in the back yard. She ordered 7 pizzas delivered, all with that ham and pineapple crap, which she knows I hate, and then to top it off, she plugged up the toilet with my favorite John Deere cap. She said she was upset about my other girlfriend, but she keeps winking as she's standing by the bedroom door. Why can't women just say what they want?

I need advice from someone who is not going to give me the cliched comments or any kind of stupid, useless crap. I know that there has GOT TO be insightful people on this site.
All I do is wallow. I can't seem to get over my ex. She totally broke my heart. It was a break up (her choice), then we kind of got back together, then I got super depressed and started drinking too much and making out with random ppl, so I broke it off. It's been over a year, we talk on occasion, everytime she says that she loves me. I can't move on. I am so devoted to her, it's ridiculous. I need to know whether I'm being a moron, or whether there is such thing as true love. I think that she is the one for me, but whenever I wanna say that outloud I'm scared I'll jinx it. I know that it's stupid. But I need a little advice. Please?

So I am on my 2nd pregnancy, and I remember with my first I went to birthing classes. They told you how to measure your cervix in comparison to finger width. I totally forget this and was wondering if anyone else remembers??? I am 36wks along, and tend to dialate early and have very quick labors. I checked this morning and I know I have dilated a lot, just curious how much! Thanks for any advice on this!!!!
