The most exciting play in baseball is the delayed double steal
Runners on first and third
runner on first takes off for second
as soon as the catcher throws the ball to second ,
the runner on third heads home
It's a great play that is almost never seen anymore.
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the Mets successfully executed one in the 1969 World Series.
