How do you diabetics deal with Halloween and Valentine's Day?

These days were created for the chocolate industry. How do y'all deal with it? Do you just have an IV full of Humalog ready to go? Do you restrain yourselves? Do you go hog wild and say, "I've been good all year, but today all hell breaks loose and Hello Ketoacidosis?"

My mom doesn't like my boyfriend and she told me to not talk to him I need help, I can't be with him!!!!

Why do men always treat beautiful women like objects or trophies?

They try to win you, and then when they get you it's off to the next conquest. Yet the same guy will treat a not-so-hot girl like gold. Why don't the nice guys like the super pretty girls? They're only bitches because they've been treated like blow-up dolls!

What do you worship, the almighty Dollar or God?

In Europe churches ( a place where God lives) are the biggest and most beautiful buildings. By contrast in America the largest and most beautiful buildings are industrial skyscrapers ( home of the Dollar),- American churches look like small huts in comparison. Doesn´t this quite literarily point out that Americans are hippocrats that say they care about God and spirituality while they really are the most progmatic and materialistic of all nations?
US citizens stand up for yourselves and prove me wrong!

Do you think the NHL season is too long. October to June. I think it is a bit much.?

I know I am going to get beat up on this one. I like the sport but I think the season is a bit long. If they eliminated the pre-season games and started in mid September would that be better?

Soups like the Olive Garden recipe's please?

I don't know about you but the olive garden has some great soup, I am not sure of the names of the soups but they have a while color one with sausage and potatoe, and ministrone. I would love any recipe that is like there's. Thank you.

Black women/girls and eating disorders?

Are there any black women/girls suffering from an eating disorder - mainly anorexia? I'm just curious because as much as I hear about women and girls suffering from the disease, I rarely hear anything about black women suffering from it. Is it really that uncommon?

I was wondering if you're a black girl or woman, or even man, suffering from anorexia or bulimia (and you don't mind posting here) could you tell me what you think about the lack of awareness about it? Do you think there should be more said about other ethnicities suffering from the disease in addition to what we hear/know already?

If I'm misinformed, please tell me so with sources. It's just something I don't hear much about.

*my intent is not to make this into a race issue. hopefully, no one takes offense*

being 21 with irregular periods prevent me from getting pregnant?

Well i'm 21 and married and am wondering i having irregular periods will prevent me form getting pregnant. I was on the pills for some time and now my periods are still irregular and now im off for the last year and am afrais i will not be able to concieve. what do you think.
