I have a new PC, built by a computer shop. It has been working great, but recently, without any apparent reason or warning, it just turns off. There is nothing on the screen, the power light is on, the hard-disk indicator light is on, and the computer tower makes a beeping sound. This sound is a long beep, every 4 seconds, which seems to keep going until the power button is held long enough to turn the PC off.

The PC specs are as follows;

Graphics - Asus X1600 PRO 512MB DDR2 / 128bit

DVD drive - DVD±RW NEC ND-3540 16x Double Layer
3.5” Floppy Drive
MIDI Case ATX-900 300W

This country (USA) has the highest incarceration rate by far among free, developed countries. We routinely lock up people for trying to get high. We have a black market that supplies these people, funding crinimals who wind up fighting over turf and also terrorists and rouge nations. We have created a larger, more acceptable (to society) crinimal culture than we ever had... mostly because of our asinine rules regarding drugs. Their tactics in this unwinnable war include attacking our civil rights, notably the 2nd, 4th, 8th, and 10th amendments. The ban on drugs in this country is 100% unconstitutional, and has had disastrous effects on this country.

Is there any hope of this, among other ways this country has gone wrong, can be changed in the near future?

An FYI for those who might attack me and call me a stupid druggie: the only illegal drug I've done is pot, and haven't touched it since college.

I want her to spank me when I'm bad and I want her to spank my bare butt with her hand and a hairbrush because I want to cry and It'll make me feel better plus all the other questions I asked earlier are all in my mind(a fantasy I wish would come true) and I really want pro advice on this one because I feel it would cleanse me of all the things I did wrong and I would know that they love me if they took the time to spank me butt just my mom because my dad is another male and I don't want him to see me naked but I completely trust my mom and I would prefer if she would just grab me by the arm and take me over the lap and pull down my boxers and spank me till I cry. When we use the term "war on terror" we are playing games with words. Unfortunately, it has an impact on the way we think.

"War" is what we fought in WW II, Vietnam and Afghanistan. What we're doing in Iraq was a war, but it had nothing to do with terrorism. Now it's a high-intensity peace-keeping operation. (No disrespect to our soldiers and airmen, who are to be commended.)

By using this misleading term, we exagerate the situation and fool ourselves into taking drastic actions. In order to start thinking in productive ways, we should change the language we use.

How about some different terms, like
-- The struggle for peace and tolerance
-- The campaign to replace fanaticism with education
-- The movement to protect civilians and non-combatants
-- The drive for airborne safety

If you have a suggestion for a better term, do you have any ideas on how to promote its usage?

his sister and her hasband are very controlling and are just worried that they won't be able to control the money, me and my boyfriend don't care if thay continue to control the money. We discussed with them the marriage and they were all for it, but we had to go to probate court to get the courts permission, and they told us to write a letter and that we had to serve the guardins and let them know, they didn't say anything, then the next day, they came to the house with there own letter, saying no, tha that they decided against it, basically cause they will loose there control then.
