Because all I see is people saying he actually never did anything inappropriate, and that libs should apologize...I bet Foley wishes he knew about his innocence before he resigned...

I'm sorry that clever sarcasm rarely works on this forum, because that's good stuff. More than 1/2 the answers so far missed it completely. Nice work.

Someone should have told him. I think it was purposely kept from him by the House leaders on both sides of the aisle.

Seriously, if the kid was 18, there's no real crime. On the other hand, he may have not known how old that kid was. There's probably more. And the fact that he's been outed as a homosexual in the Republican Party could only lead to his eventual departure anyway.

No debate there - IF Hastert knew of Foley's indiscretions and did no longer some thing, he could renounce. no matter if he done his job in an remarkable way or poorly isn't the challenge. possibly i'm in simple terms previous formed, yet i believe that a political candidate owes it to the american human beings he represents to be difficulty-free and carry himself to a intense moral regularly happening.

People are retaliating against liberals because a lot of radicals in the party (more than 50% of them) are calling for the resignation of other republican candidates even though there has been no proof that links anyone else to it.

Quite typical though when you have nutjobs like Nancy Pelosi representing your party lmao

You're kidding, right? Do you actually believe he would have resigned if he were innocent? People don't give up power so easily...and you need to check out other sources for your news.

No, probably not, the reason is because people will forget that he is innocent, but rather remember the 5 day span when the world thought he was guilty

Hey there are many repukes that should apologize to him then also. They had him as guilty also. I do think he thought he was guilty or he wouldn't have resigned. I also think that there should be more investigation before we jump to conclusions as if he did it to one young many he probably had other victims.

Just keep looking away from the facts .. ignore the man behind the curtains. Just what a lot of Republicans like to try and do when they are caught. :)

His own party was jumping his case, not the "libs" lady. Post additional info that backs your bashing.

Good point.

I am sorry you resigned Mark Foley.
It made you look guilty.
