She's wrong. That is not true. Katrina hit New Orleans because it just happened to veer in that direction, not because of human behavior. Otherwise, DC would be in some real trouble by now.

You've got to admit Mardi Gras can be a little offensive to the Christian person. Where there is alot of human rebellion there is alot of natural disasters--don't why there just is--it's like nature rebels too. I don't think the deserving part is so true though, as we all deserve punishment if that is the case and it didn't happen to me.

First of all, she won't go to hell because she thinks the city deserved Hurricane Katrina. Second.. yes she's way out of line to say that.. I would be 100% upset. but you have to keep in mind.. some people are friggen weird and have no idea whats going on in society today, if anything.. pray that that poor woman wakes up one of these days and realizes the world does not revolve around her backside.

You should have punched her in the face for saying that. Then, while she lays on the ground wondering what hit her, you can tell her that God sent that blow to put a little perspective back in her brain.

Yes I would be upset. But you know what, everyone has opinions and you know what they say about opinions "Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one" Don't worry about it; she will have to answer for all of her doings here on Earth, not you.
God bless!
