I would tell he that she cannot stop you from seeing him. Tell her that even if she says no then you will find other ways to see him so she should let you see him. I would ignore her.

maybe she sees something you dont see. most of the time , even though we dont like to admit it, parents are most of the time right, especially when it comes to the opposite sex, if u know that ur relationship with this person is harmless ask her to sit down and talk, parents can be flexible sometimes if you have valid reasons, trust me, im almost 18 and my mom is a pretty strict and overprotective person sometimes but me talking to her actually did me some good and made her trust me to make the right decisions and if ur b/f ever tries to pressure u to have sex, tell him no- dont be like a lot of us-me included , and make bad decisions b/c it wont turn out good for u in the end. I would listen to your mother she is wiser and knows whats best for you whenever you grow up and live in your own house you can make whatever mistakes you can afford. remember you are a child for 18 years and adult for the rest of your life on average that is 75 years 75 -18 = 57 years to do what you want to. in other words you get to do what want 3 times more than what you mother says you need to do . 3 for me 1 for you sounds like a great deal

I don't know how old you are but I hope for your sake you're almost 18. I think parents forget what it was like when they were young. Have you ever talked to your mom about her old boyfriends and what they would do and where they would go when they went out? Maybe them she will remember what it was like. Your mother need to allow you to make your own decision and make your own mistakes, that way you can learn from them. If you are an adult, you should be able to make your own decision as to who you which to be with. On the other hand if you are under age your mother may be right, maybe she is seeing something your not, if so you should listen to her she is older and wiser. You will thank her in the end.
