JAKARTA (Reuters) - Doctors and nurses in Indonesia, the world's most populous Muslim country, can no longer perform female genital cutting, a senior Health Ministry official said on Wednesday.

Some Indonesian communities encourage parents to cut parts of a newborn daughter's clitoris although the country's Islamic groups are in dispute over such non-therapeutic practices.

Sri Hermiyanti, who heads the ministry's family health directorate, said symbolic female circumcisions that do not involve physical damaging of the child still could be carried out.

"Hurting, damaging, incising, cutting the clitoris are not allowed. These acts violate the reproductive rights of these girls and harm their organs," said the doctor, adding the announcement has been circulated to health workers since April.

I have a theory that I wrote about in my blog tonight, and want to see if others agree.

Despite the myth, I don't think most lesbians actually hate or even dislike men. They just dislike sex with men. No, for *real* man-hating, you have to turn to straight women, and bi women with recent male experience. Hell, just look at greeting cards and commercials designed to reach straight women!

What are your experiences with this?

I don't consider myself as anti-semitic or anti-palestine. I don't support Israel be "wiped off the map" as suggested by the Iranian president. However, moving Israel is not really bad of an idea.

First, we have to know Jews were stripped of their homeland. Palestinians are stipped of their homeland too. Both are victims. While not all Jews were from Germany, it is natural that you return what you take away.

Germany should return land to Israel. Construction should be funded primarily by Germany and England, two countries who have created the mid-east mess. With Germany's high unemployment rate, building the new Israel will give a HUGE economic boost. They should build it somewhere near Leipzig in East Germany along the Polish border.

The "sacred" places (ie Jerusalem) in Palestine shall be occuppied as a "neutral state" by a UN force consisting of forces from Western and Arab states. This shall allow jews & muslims to go to pilgrimage without hassle from extremists.

There are lots of holes in people's walls, few due to accidents, and most due to teenager's fists/feet. Isn't there something better out there that can be painted just like drywall, but not break when the teens decide to express their rage? Why are we still using this weak drywall stuff anyway?

ok heres the deal...

This is about physical beauty (and sexual behaviour/chemistry)- nothing else.

Things like height, obesity, hair, skin and other factors are relevant.

Things like "There are more Russian women so their better" is not relevant. Neither are comments such as "Every woman is beautiful" or "Every country has beautiful women" - thats not the question here. Save that for another day.

I want to get a new pc, what I want to do requires a new pc, here is the current pc that I have, please tell me what its worth:

Computer:
Pentium 4 processor at 1.4GHZ or 1400mhz
640 MB SD ram
40 GB hard drive, 40 gb hard drive (slave)
Pioneer 16X Dual Layer DVD Burner
LG 16X DVD Player
Nvidia 64MB video card, Onboard sound, 2 USB ports, Floppy Drive, Ethernet card

Dell Keyboard, Logitech 3 button mouse

I bought it from MDG in November 2001, so its almost 5 years old, its slow because I have so much stuff on it, but it runs ok if your just surfing the net. Its a good pc, but times have changed and I need a new pc for internet/application use.

As for how much Im looking for, well its between $400-$650. Does this sound reasonable? The dvd drives I bought brand new, dvd burner was bought this year so is only 2 months old, dvd player was bought in 2002 and still works, as for the monitor, I got it in 2003 and works great!
