There are quite a few, burning when you urinate, pressure type pain when you stop urinating, blood in your urine, foul smelling urine, pain in your mid back, only being able to urinate small amounts at a time and urinating frequently.

Some of the symptoms for a urinary tract infection include:
* A frequent urge to pass urine, if only a few drops (urgency)
* Burning pain or a ‘scalding’ sensation on urination
* A feeling that the bladder is still full after urination
* Pain above the pubic bone
* Blood in the urine.

I'm currently on my second round of antibiotics for a UTI that I've had for almost 2 weeks.
It usually starts with frequency. Then urgency. Then pain, either during urination or as the stream is finishing. Sometimes there's also a little blood(you might only see this as pink spots on the toilet paper), and maybe when you go to urinate only a few drops come out. You could also have a fever, and get chills and sweats. That's how I knew I was getting the UTI.
Usually your doctor will have you do a urine test but it takes 2-3 days to get results so they'll start treating you when you come in. You could take AZO tabs for the pain; they'll color your urine orange. It may affect the urine test though, so if you do take them, make sure you let the doctor know.
Good luck!

You have frequency of urination, it might be dark colored, you may have a fever, lower abdominal pain, pain while urinating, or a weak stream, and you could have burning. You may have to go pee in a cup for the nurse. I hope you feel better!
