I have been married for 14 years now. We are like roomates more than husband and wife though. We have kids and will stay together. She has simply lost her drive and I miss the closeness that is lost. This is as good as it gets and I want more. Beyond counciling that we have both tried. What would you do?

If there are others that just would like to share corrrespondance with me an informal married but lonely group you are welcome to.

Hello, my baby is almost 1 month old now. He wakes me up about every 2 hours at night when he's hungry. At what agedo babies start sleeping for longer periods when they are breast fed? When will I be able to mix a little rice cereal in with his breast milk?

I haven't started my period yet, but every day I find icky discharge in my underwear. I checked online and it said it was normal. My mom and grandma are away on a mothers trip with my friends moms and grandmas. I'm stuck with my grandpa. Thsi can't wait until they come back in one week!

After just a few years of marriage, filled with constant arguments, a young man and his wife decided the only way to save their marriage was to try counselling. They had been at each other's throat for some time and felt that this was their last straw.
When they arrived at the counsellor's office, the counsellor jumped right in and opened the floor for discussion. "What seems to be the problem?" Immediately, the husband held his long face down without anything to say. On the other hand, the wife began talking 90 miles an hour describing all the wrongs within their marriage.
After 5 - - 10 - - 15 minutes of listening to the wife, the counsellor went over to her, picked her up by her shoulders, kissed her passionately for several minutes, and sat her back down. Afterwards, the wife sat there speechless. He looked over at the husband who was staring in disbelief at what had happened.
The counsellor spoke to the husband, "Your wife NEEDS that at least twice a week!"
The husband scratched his head and replied, "I can have her here on Tuesdays and Thursdays."

If you don't have a lot of sex in your marriage and then you notice that your partner doesn't really try to iniate phsical intimcay with you anymore what does this mean? (And NO he is not getting it somehere else......i know him better than that)....could it mean that he knows that even if he tried to iniate something its not going anywhere so why start anyway? I've noticed that guys in their 30's have horrible skin damage from not using sunscreen when they were younger. This concerns me since I'm in my late 20's and am terrified of what my dating pool will look like when I hit my 30's. I've resorted to dating men between the ages of 25 and 30, but I won't be able to do that forever. Why don't men take better care of themselves?

If I don't take the laxs I cannot go to the toilet at all even though I eat fresh veg and fruit every night. I'm sick of my meals always being veg and sick of being sick after taking the laxs. Can any one suggest anything to help with IBS? I am undergoing treatment on my bowells but the clinic I'm under make me wait upto 8 wks for the next lot of treatment. This seems to be taking to long as I'm waiting to start back at work and can't because of having to go to the toilet all the time.

My sis has been a tad overweight since she was teenager. Year after she has been eating her way to obesity: now she is 22 and over 200 pounds. She gets very angry when either my mom or me hint that she should eat smaller portions, cut junk food.
Besides health risks her weight poses, I know she is not happy with her looks - she gets upset when she shops for clothes; she does not have many friends and has never had a boyfriend. But she has never made even a smallest attempt to diet or exercise.
What can I do to help her?
